We have posted a considerably more detailed version of The Plan for Getting There From Here. It is broken down into seven macro-steps, which roughly look something like this:
- Create a media business
- Create an aerospace services business
- Establish orbital habitats
- Begin mining asteroids
- Colonize Venus
- Colonize the rest of the Solar System
- Colonize outside the Solar System
